We had Malaysian laksa with thin egg noodles, which cost extra $3. The soup was tasty and savory and it paired perfectly with soft and tender noodles. Dry noodles with crispy pork was a bit bland. Mala fired chicken wing was delicious. KL pork noodle soup was good as well. The prices are not cheap with an extra $3 for noodle and separate charges for meats. Portions are average. Overall, itโs not bad. If you like noodles, this is one of the recommended choices.
Great service and very delicious food! Unfortunately I did not get a chance to take a photo of my noodles as everything was gobbled up the moment the food arrived. BBQ pork noodles were simply delicious and the ice lemon tea was delightful. I'll come back for more..
Food was quite mediocre. The Hakka fried pork was very dry and tasted frozen. The wonton mee was also quite bland with not enough sauce despite thoroughly mixing it through. The chashu was the only decent thing but then again, there are much better options around.
This is something special. The amount of time, care, skill and love that goes into every bowl is unmatched in Perth. The noodles are made by bamboo pole in the authentic, traditional way. You get four general options for noodles; Soup: laksa or clear broth dry: light or dark sauce. All are amazing and you cannot go wrong. Personally I enjoy the dark sauce best as the caramel notes are addictive. The service is lovely. QR code or counter ordering; visual menu can be found on QR code too. Open window to the area they make the noodles. Super fun to watch
Definitely the noodles are another level, itโs worth to try them because they really taste differently from what we are used to. We built our own bowl with extra veggies and charcoal chicken and dark sauce. While we enjoyed the homemade noodles, and the chicken was cooked delicious, I found too many flavors that for my own liking didnโt combine perfectly. The wontons and dumplings soup were ok and we also ordered the pork noodles that were ok too.
