The Kotthu roti is so so tasty, highly recommend trying it! Worth driving to Canberra just for this! Will be back again the next time I’m in Canberra.

Yakka is awesome! Honestly, I think this is the only Sri Lankan cuisine spot in Canberra serving truly authentic dinner and doing it right. Their prices are reasonable, the flavours are spot on with real Sri Lankan taste, and the customer service is always warm and welcoming. We live out in Casey and still make the drive all the way into the city just to eat here, that’s how good it is. My wife loves their food too. Keep up the great work, Yakka on Wheels.

A nice Srilankan food trucks in the middle of Braddon, Canberra. We tries the Wild Goat Kottu, Yaka Kottu and Loaded Fries. The kottus taste's are wonderful. And the loaded fries is generous and taste good too. Very convenient for a grab and go alternative. We will certainly come back for more. I am now eyeing the hot butter calamari for the next visit !!

We stumbled upon Yaka on Wheels while visiting Canberra from Sydney, and it was so good we had to come back the next day! The two people running the truck clearly love what they do, and it shows in both their service and the food. Everything we tried was incredible—the rolls were perfectly crispy, and the kottu was next level. The squid and string hopper kottu were standout dishes, packed with flavor and generously portioned. If you’re a food enthusiast looking for authentic Sri Lankan food in Canberra, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

We came all the way from Sydney after reading reviews and the food was definitely worth the visit. We tried the chicken koththu and the little salad on the side was an interesting addition. The hot butter cuttlefish was delicious and I might return just for that. Also the owner was friendly and welcoming!!
