Absolutely loved Viet Origin! The food tastes incredibly authentic , just like home. Fresh ingredients, rich flavours, and generous portions. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always make you feel taken care of. The place is clean, cosy, and the service is quite quick. Definitely one of the best Vietnamese restaurants around. Authentic and legit Vietnamese food in the heart Newcastle. Was needing to eat something soupy and nourishing after a big night and a couple of Western meals, and Viet Origin did not disappoint. The pho was delicious with fragrant broth & tender meat, and the crispy skin chicken with tomato rice was exactly the right flavour profile. And to end, the cafe sua da hit the spot. Highly recommend coming here for genuine Vietnamese cuisine.

Just enjoyed our delicious lunch. Well balanced flavour. The lemongrass chicken was so succulent. Topped off with super friendly, fast and efficient service. Safe to say we will become regulars.

Had Pho elsewhere night before which did not have any flavor at all. So thought we would try this place. OMG. Service was excellent, Staff were so helpful and accommodating in assisting menu suggestions. Once food was received OMG it was close to the best Pho we have ever eaten and the serving size was big. We have leftovers for lunch. Well done Viet Origin Darby St Team. We will be regulars if this is your normal
