Best Banh Mi's, Smoothies and Coconut Coffee on the GC! Small little family business providing fantastic food and service.
Terrible food no flavour small portions and useless service (update in response because I cannot reply) I ordered 1 x lemongrass chicken 1 x lemongrass beef noodle salad 2 chicken salads turned up with sweet chilli sauce no fish sauce. When I called the shop you asked for proof I provided photos and was told to go through uber eats they only refunded half the order despite not being able to enjoy either dish since the sauce meant for both never came. As it was both dishes were bland and the chicken had no flavour very disappointing experience and for $23 each it needs to improve
First time trying Viet Au Kitchen Oxenford and absolutely loved it! My friend Carlo ordered the Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi for the first time and I had the BBQ Pork and Mushroom Banh Mi โ both were packed with generous fillings, served hot and freshly made. The bread was perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, and you can really taste the freshness in every bite. Great value for money too! Definitely one of the best Banh Mi spots on the Gold Coast. Highly recommend giving them a try!
The Banh mi are so worth the $9.99, best price Iโve seen. They are very delicious, the 4 star was due to the roll being a little soggy due to liquid from the meat or sauce. Generous serve of meat, could do with more vegetables, but we loved them. Service was alright, just didnโt get told how long itโll be and the lady was on the phone while serving us.
Tried this place for lunch on a gloomy Sunday. Was expecting authentic but was abit disappointed. My pho didnt come out piping hot, they don't use raw beef they only use beef brisket, mind you it was a generous serving of beef brisket. For extra $2.5 for beef balls you only really got like 1 beef ball (cut into quarters) tried the avocado smoothie was also disappointing, not enough avocado in it. Ther was also an old man standing around with a serving tray waiting for us to finish our food and as soon as I put down my spoon he came over and started clearing the table and my food and drink not even asking if I'm finished so it felt like they were trying to rush us out.
