I visited Yoonโs Kitchen in Melbourne CBD the other night and had an outstanding experience. I ordered the dosirak a generous and delicious Koreanโstyle lunch box and it truly delivered on flavour, portion size and value. The dosirak arrived beautifully presented and packed with fresh, vibrant ingredients, everything from the rice to the sides was thoughtfully prepared. The value impressed me: for the price it offered a full meal with multiple components and didnโt feel skimpy in the slightest. Great value for $20. The venue is centrally located in the CBD (Russell Street / Lonsdale Street area), making it easy to drop in for a lunch or casual dinner. The service was friendly and efficient; it felt comfortable and relaxed without any fuss. Overall, the meal left me totally satisfied, perfect for either a solo lunch or a catchup with friends where you want something tasty and no fuss.
The fried chicken was boneless which quite convenient to eat. However the stir fried soy beef didnโt meet my expectation. I had to say the sauce was very sweet, not quite sure bulgogi sauce had put too much or what? I have never had that sweet taste in other Korean restaurants before.
Had an amazing time at Uncle Yoon! ๐ฅขโจ The food was delicious, the prices were very reasonable, and the staff were super friendly. Itโs the perfect spot to hang out with friends, enjoy great flavors, and have a fun, relaxed night out. Highly recommended if youโre looking for good vibes and great value! ๐ฏ๐๐ป
I had a enjoyable time eating at UncleYoons , there food was somewhat different to what I usually have in the city. But I thought I would give it ago. I did like some of there enjoyable dishes . I was just a bit sad that I wanted to try everything haha. I came by there place on Instagram as it came up as reccomended , since I love Korean Food I decided to try. And I was amazed by the flavours that came into form for each meal. Everyone will have there views on the meals differently but , I value taste and presentation. I was very impressed by the presentation and taste of the meals that were served to me. They have there own special twist on there dishes, and I understand some people have there own opinions but I loved the meals that were presented. I would like to try there other meals this Friday My favourite dish was the fried rice , it really melted in my mouth as soon as it hit my tongue it enveloped a quiet extraordinary spectacular taste it made myself want more. Some of the dishes maybe or look small at first look but are really filling. I think you would need to order alot to be full in my opinion , but then again I eat a lot . Would I come again ? YES SIRRRRR! Would love to try something different Oh and the staff were really nice , I liked my server they were very patient , and I like the chef althought I havent seen them , I find that the passion in the food shows they put there love and soul into what they present on the table , makes it awe inspiring d^o^b Thanks for having me
I tried a set menu for 2 with my friend, one Champong with noodle, the other Champong with rice(instead of noodle) + a small sized Tansuyuk(Fried pork with sweet sour sauce). All dishes were hot enough until we finish, the taste was so good, accurate and incredible. They were like we are having them in Korea. If I have this place near my neighbourhood in Korea, I'm willing to be one of the regular customers. We were craving some Korean Chinese food like these. I want to try other options as well day by day. For Champong, if you want a spicier taste, you can ask to the kitchen. For us, the spicy level was perfect with full of seafood&vegie based broth.
