Great little place in Hobart with a changing seasonal menu. We decided to select our own courses instead of the set menu. The prawn pasta being the stand out. Booking is a must we sat at the bar. Tables of two seem to sit at the communal table. Booking for the earlier sitting and didn’t feel rushed at all. Plenty of time to enjoy our meal.

I’ve been to Templo about 6 times in last 5 years. I think that that the food is amazing at times, it is a small intimate dining space, but overall I feel that it has been slipping. I think this might be the last time I’ll come here… perhaps compounded by three out of the seven dishes that I had ordered (on a second seating) not being available by the time I had ordered, and the dishes that I had most wanted to have at that. I think that you can do better overall in Hobart, don’t waste your time and don’t get disappointed by dishes running out.

Food is really good (a few standout dishes), but I wouldn’t say exceptional - especially for the price point. Restaurant itself has a great atmosphere and I love how intimate it feels. All in all I would recommend.

Small cozy restaurant. Everything we ordered was delicious and well-executed, full of flavours and fresh ingredient. Would be great for a date night or celebration. Will recommend!

Reservations only. They only serve two settings a night with their 6 course meal. Great for celebrating special occasions. We were there for our 12 years anniversary and our minion’s 10 year-old birthday. Some of the food was a bit too sophisticated for the kid, but they certainly were delights for the grownups! We had a great time! Make sure you mark this place for your next special occasion.
