Its unfortunate its the first time we came to dine in at Vic Park and we ordered Chee Chiong Fun, Char Kway n You Tiao they weren't up to standard. Cheers Chiong Fun is sickly sweet n looks nothing like in the menu and so is the Char Kway. The You Tiao is nice but took too long to come after all the meal had arrived one by one. Everything took too long to arrive n it wasn't even busy. We know what this food suppose to taste like as we eat this back home. The Chef must hv his own idea thinking that all food must be sickly sweet to his taste. This is the 1st n the last for me n never again.

Tea Garden in Vic Park is a beautiful, modern Malaysian restaurant with an elegant atmosphere the kind of place that feels both stylish and welcoming the moment you walk in. I ordered the nasi lemak, and every element on the plate came together beautifully. The coconut rice was fragrant and rich, carrying that signature aromatic warmth. The sambal struck the perfect balance of sweet and spicy, pairing wonderfully with the crispy ikan bilis (fried anchovies) that added a salty contrast. The chicken was a generous portion, wrapped in a crunchy, well-seasoned coating with just the right blend of salt and pepper. Even the cucumber salad had a sweet, refreshing touch that complemented the richer flavours. The egg and the crispy white keropok crackers added extra texture, tying everything together into a delicious and satisfying meal. We also always order their teh tarik, which is smooth, frothy, and perfectly sweet — especially when paired with their roti kaya, a warm, soft bread filled with rich butter and fragrant kaya that melts beautifully with every bite!

The Char KweTiew one of my favorites so far, smoky and tasty as my like. The Ice Cendol is The Best, specially they make with brown sugar and coconut milk, all combined perfect 👌 The laksa No bad, according my Husband, but only lacking the Coriander Leafs on the top, fried brown onions and some chop chillies t as well as Lime to add as aside. If they included above, would be perfect 👌 I would like to comeback for the Char kweTiew and try something else. Unless they change the Laksa profile, will try again.

We ordered the must try food and drink, the crispy quarter chicken, special chilli mee, abd three laters tea kaw. We loved the crispy quarter chicken, everything was so good. I recommended eating it with the sambal. It's not that spicy for me but including it will enhance the flavour. the three layer tea kaw was also good! The strength of the black tea is just right and the milk did not trigger my digestion problem.

Had dinner at Tea Garden and absolutely loved it! The Nasi Lemak Legend was beautifully presented with two types of rice and rich sambal prawns. The Char Kway Teow was smoky and delicious, and the fried chicken was super crispy. Drinks like the 3 Layers Tea Kaw and Soya Milk with Cincau were perfectly balanced and refreshing. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. Highly recommend for anyone craving real Malaysian food in East Victoria Park!
