Sushisho is really one of a kind omakase in Melbourne, as a foodie travelled around the world and visited Japan for a couple of times, this sushi really reminds me of the stars restaurant. With such quality and authentic food, it is barely impossible to share with others. Won’t regret ever!

Best food I have had in a long time. Went here for my birthday with my wife. Chef and waiter staff were amazing. Good conversation. Amazing interior of the restaurant. So cozy and intimate. Food was immaculate. Whisky sour at Sushi So is a must try. Will be back again and again.

I really enjoyed this season’s menu — I heard it was designed with the help of a Michelin-starred chef from Japan. Several dishes truly stood out. The oyster topped with uni and caviar was incredibly fresh, beautifully balanced, and naturally sweet. The wagyu sushi was exceptional. One of the most surprising highlights was a sushi course finished with yuzu, which added a wonderfully clean and refreshing note. The final wagyu dish was absolutely stunning and was the perfect way to end the meal — it truly lit up my evening. The chefs are clearly very professional, and the wine list is excellent. I’ll definitely be coming back.
