Got to Sumatra just before 1pm, but most of the bain-marie dishes had already sold out. Had a rice meal with three sides: chicken curry, tofu/tempeh & a fritter. The fritter wasn’t very crispy, but overall the meal was very flavourful.

A hidden gem in the cbd area for Indonesian food ! Make sure you visit at lunch time since it’s their display is still full before running out. Very friendly seller & staff, sometimes they add free bakwan if you nice. The food were amazing and very tasy, fresh, and seasoned well. Very highly recommend !

Terrible service. We came from time to time. Owner would sometes talk to my partner the whole dine in period, which i dont like as we wanna spend 30m break together uninterrupted. This time i came alone. Small serve even tho i ask for large. normally we came here get small portion always get full plate with the lady server. This time it was the owner guy. only 4 small pieces of jackfruit for large serve. I asked the lady again and she even asked me if that was small or large. No 'thank you' when i paid. Just said 'we also wanna make money'. I understand nowadays everything is expensive, if only the explanation was nicer n better, we would come back to order just small portion. After asking my partner about the portion when i sent him picture of this dish, he was also telling me ths portion is small. So we ask the lady if she is sure she cant add more. She peeked at the plate n ask if its small or large and i said its large, indicating she also feels its small. Then she asked the owner back to come n finally agreed to put a few more veg on plate half-heartedly then proceed to say 'go search other place'. So rude. Will never come back.

Great food. Fried rice was nice

Visiting Darwin for a week. Bumped in to this cute food stall hidden in the mall. It looks simple but taste wise is spot on. Very authentic! Price is average . The service was quick, the lady who served, was very nice and friendly. We had a little chat after she found out I am from Medan☺ Highly recommend this place! The fried noodle ( mie goreng ) was spot on!
