Great experience dining here. The place is spacious, clean, and aesthetic. Food was great and big serving size for the price. They also give lots of condiments which is a big plus for me. Will definitely go back here again!

The beef noodle soup (pho) was perfection! So much depth of flavour it was moreish. I also got the sugar cane prawn, spring roll & grilled pork vermicelli noodles plus the special DIY rice paper roll plate and it was delicious. The portion sizes are large and lots of fresh ingredients so the dishes are all authentic and refreshing. The service was above and beyond, the people that work there offer such warm, attentive and caring hospitality. The actual restaurant atmosphere was gorgeous too, the lighting created a lovely ambience. My favourite elements were the floating wave bamboo ceiling tiles and bamboo wall structures another touch to show the great attention to detail this place offers. Highly recommend and cant wait to go back

I have had multiple great dining experiences at Special Dish Vietnamese Restaurant. The food was incredibly fresh, full of flavour and clearly made with quality ingredients. Portions were quite generous, so it’s definitely good value for money! What really stood out to me was the variety on the menu — there are so many interesting and authentic options that make you want to come back just to try more dishes. My personal favourite was the Sugarcane Prawn with Woven Rice. It was not only delicious but also really fun to eat. The various meats were juicy and flavorful, and wrapping them with the woven rice made the whole experience more interactive and memorable. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the meal even more enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic Vietnamese restaurant that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for fresh food and great service. Also, I recommend booking as it can get quite busy!

At time of review, entry is only via a steep stairwell which makes it tough for wheelchair users or anyone with mobility issues. Overall, it’s a vibrant and modern spot with great energy, excellent food, and a sense of hospitality that makes you want to linger. Located on the upper level, accessible via a stairway at the front of the street, the moment you step upstairs, you'll be blown away by the stunning, spacious, and flowy area. Staff super friendly and attentive! They really know how to make you feel welcome. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like family. Complimentary green tea and a small mandarin at the end - lovely touches! The food was amazing! I ordered the grilled pork vermicelli, which was grilled to perfection and full of flavour. The spring rolls were also delicious, and the Vietnamese coffee was a highlight - sweet but good! Price is good too! Great value for money. Highly recommend for delicious Vietnamese cuisine and excellent service.
