Our second time here. Venue serves Korean cuisine. Arrived early Sunday evening & restaurant was still quiet. There was only another table occupied at the time of our arrival around 5.30pm. What we ordered : Korean Fried Chicken - original (Boneless) $35 Sotteok Sausage and Rice Cake (2 skewers) $12.50 Wagyu Beef Panko-crumbed Gyukatsu (grill your own set) $45 Steamed Rice $2.50 We enjoyed everything & would recommend.
a neat little variety of korean stuff. honey butter chicken was served hot and very tasty, although the radish cube quantity felt skimpy. kimchi udon was nice too. not too spicy until you get to the lower parts of the soup. we got rose tteokbokki and โaddedโramyeon for $4, although the ratio seemed a bit off. maybe iโm just unfamiliar with the portion size of things here but it felt more like 66% of the tteokbokki was just replaced? that aside, the flavor was pleasant and filling, the texture good as well albeit a little soft. not sure if it justifies the base price of $27 though. the front door has a stopper/holder built in which can cause unwanted airflow when left open so if you are sitting in that path and donโt like wind blowing on your food you can close it a bit on the expensive side but i wouldnโt mind coming again
I recommend Creamy Prawn Cheesy Buldak It was more delicious than what I had in Korea. The chicken kalguksu was just so-so.
I was really disappointed with their fried chicken and chicken wings. The batter on the fried chicken was overly hardโit seemed like they refried it instead of preparing it fresh. The sweet chili and creamy sauce was overpoweringly sweet and intense. As for the soy-glazed fried wings, they lacked crispiness, and the batter was mostly soggy. The only positive was that the meat inside remained juicy. The mango rice wine was average. Sorry but I wouldn't come back.
A modern and fun Korean restaurant that specialises in Korean Fried Chicken and Katsu. The fried chicken had a crisp batter, and juicy meat. The pork katsu had a crunchy panko exterior and, for how lean it was, a tender and relatively moist fillet of meat. Both were very good. We also tried the Chicken Noodle Soup that tasted mild yet hearty at the same time.
