The food is absolutely outstanding — fresh, beautifully presented, and full of authentic Japanese flavours. Every dish we tried was delicious, especially the sashimi, beef teppanyaki which were incredibly fresh and perfectly prepared. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. Service was excellent as well. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our meal. If you’re looking for a place that offers amazing food, great service, and a lovely ambiance, Shiki Japanese Restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended — we will absolutely be coming back! 🍣✨
Exceptional food and service. Certainly isn’t cheap, but it is one of the best meals we have ever had in Adelaide. Staff were polite, friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant has a great selection of wines. Already looking forward to our next visit.
Shiki offers a truly gorgeous setting for dinner. We enjoyed some fantastic fresh sashimi and succulent beef. The dessert was a work of art—amazingly presented. The service was adequate, but the quality of the ingredients really stole the show.
The food is really delicious and the chef is very talented. Especially the summer menu change made me wow. We love it!
We visited this restaurant with friends after it came highly recommended, and we came in with high expectations. From the start, the interior design was beautiful and welcoming, but it was the food that truly stood out. We ordered the KEYAKI set menu, which was a well-composed and thoughtfully balanced course. The chef prepared the teppanyaki dishes right in front of us, and everything was incredibly flavorful. We left feeling very full and satisfied. Since we’re big fans of sashimi, we also ordered an additional sashimi plate—and it did not disappoint. One minor downside was the tempura. It was a bit underseasoned, and the dipping sauce lacked depth. That aside, the rest of the dishes were perfectly seasoned and delicious. I highly recommend the sake plate as well. It includes a variety of sake to sample, each served with small bites on the side. The quality and value are outstanding. The overall drink lineup is impressive, and the food was consistently excellent. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality Japanese dining experience.
