Agree with previous reviews, the food is excellent! Most authentic Malaysian restaurant in Sydney , with all the right flavours! The Nasi Kandar and Asam Laksa were spot on- as soon as the food arrived on my table, I could smell the aroma and it was exactly right, and every mouthful was delicious! The combination of the ABC, cendol and Malay music in the background brought us right back to Malaysia! Service was friendly, felt like home! Looking forward to coming back for Satay on a weekend.

Had a wonderful dining experience at this Malay restaurant in Sydney with my parents. The food was truly delicious, and the ambience felt warm and welcoming. The service was great too - we even had a lovely chat with Lin, the cafe owner, who was very friendly. We also met a fellow Malaysian who happened to be dining there for the first time, and she loved it just as much! Weโ€™ll definitely be coming back on our future trips to Sydney. Wishing the cafe continued growth and prosperity!

We happen to come across this eatery by chance when we were visiting the area. We initially got curry puff as a take away snack and was surprised with how authentic it tasted. That convinced us to head back to the restaurant to try their other dishes. As it was a weekend when we went, they had the nasi kerabu weekend special. It was a pretty solid dish with the fresh salad accompanying the rice and chicken. Very pleasant to eat and flavoursome with the sauce and dessicated coconut on the top. Just a couple of wishes for the dish: for the rice to be of stronger fragrance and less intense in colour. Still, a comparable dish to what can be found in Malaysia. Portion size was decent. The nasi kandar chicken was also a solid dish. Curry was not too spicy and very pleasant to eat. Portion size was decent too. Cendol was also decent though i was not expecting corn. They have indoor and limited outdoor seating. The decor and seatings were ok. There wasnt any standout features for me. Staff were very friendly and we had a good chat with them. They accept both cash and card. This place is a hidden gem and worth giving it a go.

Came here for dinner tonight and had the Nasi Goreng Ayam with chicken. I also ordered the mango smoothie too, which was delicious. My mates had the Nasi kampung with chicken and a roti canai with curry. All of those items were tasty too. Located in the heart of Marrickville and parking is free around the side streets. The staff are very friendly and polite. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Hands down the best Malaysian restaurant in Sydney. Tastes authentic, reasonable prices and friendly service. Highly recommend their Nasi Lemak and Nasi Kandar, theyโ€™re generous with the sambal which isnโ€™t overly spicy. The lekor and satay are great entrees, perfect if youโ€™re feeling just slightly peckish. Satay only available over the weekends (!) 10/10 would come again โค๏ธ
