Great food, Spanish style. Friendly service from Henry & his team & a nice relaxed open air setting. We eat here every time we come to PD & never disappointed!
Went for dinner as the rating seemed to be high. Ordered paella. Usually it is a simple dish where the taste of seafood mixes with the taste of saffron rice. But here there was a bunch of different additional flavors, including a tone of peas and little rice, which made the dish very heavy. The appetizers (topaz) were also nothing special. In general poor value for money.
This was by far the best meal we had in Port Douglas! And one of the best meals we have had anywhere in recent memory. The Tapas specials were ALL phenomenal. We also had fried polenta, olives, and calamari as entrees, and shared the seafood paella for our main. Every bite was a pure delight! For dessert we indulged in the creme Catalan and the almond cake with a delicious vanilla ice cream. Entire staff was warm and inviting. The owner works alongside his fantastic crew of servers and chefs from Spain. Do yourself favor and head over to Seabean for a memorable meal!!!
We enjoyed dinner here as walk ins, they were really busy but the lovely man found us a table. We ordered the calamari, the seafood paella and two desserts which were all delicious and the service was excellent. The cocktails were lovely too. Highly recommend this restaurant.
My sister and I really enjoyed our meal, we didnโt book and were lucky to jag seats at the bar. We were in prime position at the bar to enjoy great cocktails and our meal was so tasty- the seafood paella and all of the pintxos choices from the specials board were fabulous. The staff were professionals. Oh and definitely save room for the crรจme brรปlรฉe in the coconut shell.
