After a long day at Jamberoo Action Park, our group of 8 was looking for a solid meal to end the day. We noticed the great reviews for Samaras and decided to try our luck. Despite walking in without a reservation at 7 PM on the last Saturday of the year, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and managed to seat our large party immediately. They were incredibly accommodating; when we got a bit chilly sitting by the sliding door, they closed it for us without hesitation. The service was impressively fastโ€”food was on the table by 7:30 PM. After a day of theme park snacks, the fresh, authentic flavors were exactly what we needed. We ordered: - 2x Mixed Grills for Two ($59.90 ea) - Perfectly cooked and generous. - Mixed Dips ($18.90) & Falafel side ($14.90). - Drinks ($4.50 ea). The total came to $174.35 (including the weekend surcharge and card fee), which is very reasonable for 4 adults, 2 teens, and 2 kids. Having previously visited Al Amir in Fairy Meadow nearby which was also good, we can confidently say Samaras exceeded our expectations. To the management and staff: thank you for the wonderful service and high standards. Weโ€™ll definitely be back and will be recommending you to friends!

I had a long winded review I was going to make but I think this photo of the dessert to serve 6 people on a set menu says enough. Yes, they cut up 2 pieces of baklava and 1 piece of Turkish delight. Barely a lebanese restaurant. Go across the road or to fairy meadow for authentic food.

5 of us attended Christmas lunch today, it was a set menu of $65 pax plus PH surcharge. s Service was excellent & attentive & friendly , I couldn't fault, food was really nice, although it was disappointing that we didn't get the traditional salads like Tabouli or Fatoush, coffee was good for a restaurant & food was plentiful, I would go again for ala cart next time, a definite place to try for anyone looking for a gathering, birthday, or just dining with a partner or family

Best restaurant I have ever found for vegetarians! Everything is made fresh in house with the highest quality ingredients. Family owned for years, incredibly friendly staff, great service and caters for all sorts of diets. Superb!!!

Legit Lebanese food in Wollongong. We had the med salad (first pic). And Beirut platter (second pic). They donโ€™t have a liquor license but you can BYO and there is a liquor store a block away. We found out the ownerโ€™s brother runs the Samaras near Mt Kembla. The food is similar. The atmosphere here is much better as the other one is in a strip mall. But the food in both is great and the portions generous.
