A great little Malaysian place in Mascot, tucked away beneath the towering apartments. They deserve up a good variety of Malaysian dishes here, with very good flavours being served up. The char kwey tiao had a nice smokey flavour from the wok, with a good serve of prawns and clams, though very little veggies in it. The king prawn laksa was generous in the amount of prawns, though would've been better if it had more of that wonderful soup in it. I did like that they had 2 types of noodles, which is a rarity in Sydney laksas. So bonus points for that. The mamak mee goreng had a good amount of heat on it, again a generous serve of king prawns with it. Finally, a prawn and tofu hotpot, just as delicious as the other dishes. Nice and friendly service. Prices are very reasonable. Friday nights are busy, as it's a good feed, so come early or later.

Booked the place today (23/01) for dinner. We ordered the prawn cereal, chilli crab, kangkung belachan, and rice. I loveee the chilli crab, it’s savoury, the sauce and meat is thick, soo flavourful. The cereal prawns are so crispy and savoury I love it too!!! The kangkung belachan surely made us eat up all our rice! Will definitely come back!!! #SamPo#HainaneseChicken

absolutely delicious food. Highly recommend their signature hainan chicken, super super flavorful and juicy. Their sambal squid stir fry was very yummy as well perfect blend of spicy and salty. I also recommend their teh limau, sweet but not too sweet and very refreshing. Would come here again

Absolutely loved our meal here! The signature Hainanese chicken was super tender and juicy, with beautifully silky skin. The three sauces paired perfectly and really elevated the dish. The claypot dishes were comforting and full of flavour — the pork and tofu were slow-cooked and rich, served bubbling hot. The crispy fish was golden and crunchy without being greasy, and the prawn vermicelli claypot was generous, with fresh prawns and noodles soaked in sauce. Even the stir-fried lettuce was spot on — simple but done right. Great food, generous portions, and friendly service.
