Salona has been an absolute favourite of mine for over a decade, I’ve enjoyed so many delicious meals here. I’m not sure what’s happened but it’s has gone down hill big time! There’s no atmosphere anymore and the staff are not friendly and hospitable like they used to be. I dined here yesterday for lunch and had to leave after the entrees because they terrible, we were so disappointed. I’m not sure if they are trying to be more fancy but it is not working! Go back to how you were for all those years as it was the best. Absolutely nothing special anymore and could not recommend. If you’re looking for good Greek food do not come here.

A big thank you to Alex and the team and Salona for accomodating our 22 person booking last night! The food and service was outstanding. If you aren’t sure if you want to book the banquet option I encourage everyone to try it! The food was abundant, flavoursome and the service timing was perfect to enjoy your night 10/10. We didn’t feel rushed to leave and the team was kind enough to refrigerate our birthday cake AND cut and serve it to our guests. The entire 22 group will definitely be back to enjoy Salona again soon 🥰♥️🫶🏼😊🔥✨

Cozy and intimate place with a really nice atmosphere. The staff knew the menu inside out and gave great recommendations. The papoutsaki was delicious – light and full of flavour (and I usually can’t stand eggplant). The baklava was crunchy, nutty, and at the same time moist with that lovely hint of cinnamon. Definitely recommend!

We’ve finally found an amazing Greek restaurant. The food is amazing and great customer service. We were seated at a smaller sized table but the staff were nice to join the empty table next to us to ensure we had enough room for our food. We finished with a beautiful filo pastry filled with warm custard. We look forward to returning soon.

I struggle to find good Greek restaurants in Melbourne, but I’ve finally found the perfect one. The food is spectacular, my wife and I struggled to pick our favourite dish as they were all so good. The customer service was fantastic, I look forward to returning soon.
