Fantastic Pho. Served with a big plate of herbs and a great tasting broth. I had the rare beef and meatballs and it was a full meal. Great little spot about 50m from the main restaurant strip on Pitt St. Definitely worth the detour.
Whoever read this review, please come & support this small family business! I’ve been tryin few different Vietnamese vermicelli salad bowl this whole week & this is one of my favorite so far! First walk in, i can see straight away that this business are running by all family members ❤️ how they take care each customer & how they doing their best for service. Warms my heart $21 for this giant bowl! grilled pork are super juicy & generous! Well seasoned & spring rolls are hot n crunchy when served! And lastly, this shop are super clean! must try!
Went for a lunch/dinner (Linner?) the other week and was greeted by what seemed like a friendly family run restaurant. The aesthetics of the place were nice and cozy. The phos we ordered were great and definitely enough for 1 person, with a sharing dish of lemongrass chicken, easily enough for 2. Nicely lemongrassy. They also kindly packed our leftovers in containers we brought with us. Will definitely visit again and highly recommend
Saigon Taste serves up a satisfying bowl of Bún Bò Huế that’s worth trying. The broth has a nice depth of flavour and the portion size is generous, making it good value. I liked that it wasn’t overloaded with meat—the balance felt right, and the spices gave the soup an authentic kick. That said, it’s not quite perfect. While tasty, the dish could use a little refinement to really capture the richness and complexity that makes Bún Bò Huế stand out at its best. Overall, though, it’s a solid choice if you’re craving Vietnamese comfort food—hearty, flavourful, and filling.
We came to this restaurant by chance. We didn’t have any expectations but actually it was very good. We took 2 pho, one beef and one veggie. And the veggie one was surprising very tasty ! The size of the portion was huge, so it was hard to finish but it’s not a problem.
