Authentic malaysian food. Reminded me of growing up surrounded with these type of local food then. I visited the place twice. Wouldn’t mind a third while visiting Melbourne. Expect a queue on Saturday lunch because of the banana leaf meal. Regardless, worth the wait. Staff was very helpful and polite with a smile. All the best to the roti bar crew.

My friend and I ordered its Char Kuey Teow and Chicken Curry Laksa at $19.50 each; It is expensive. The portion was quite big even though it looks small in the picture. The taste of the char kuey teow was okay and not the best. It has that wokey taste and quite dry. The curry laksa was also not bad. It just didnt meet my expectation. The laksa (noodles) was good but I didnt really like the taste of curry that much. Its coconut milk is quite strong that overpowered the overall taste of the curry. The chicken was tender and soft though. Love the waitresses as well! They are very kind and helpful. Love the ambience as well. 8.5/10!

This is my second time visiting Roti Bar and the food was amazing again. We were here to celebrate my mum's birthday and everyone enjoyed all their food. It's very authentic and the rotis are 👨🏽‍🍳😘 Our family favourites were the rotis (we had different ones - from plain, butter and egg), the murtabuk and the laksa. It's a child friendly place and my boys also enjoyed the food. One loved the roti so much that he ordered 2nds. Food is prompt and service is friendly. Ju Lyn, the co owner and manager, is so delightful. She's great at checking in and making sure that everyone is happy. This is definitely a place to add to your "most eat" Melbourne list.

Simply lovely! #1 Great food, good ambience and excellent service with comforting smile. Tried Nasi Lemak with Mutton/Goat curry and Matcha Cendol Nasi Lemak was so good as always but lacked the coconut flavour in rice comparing the usual Matcha cendol had too much ice and it was difficult to have everything in it with soo much ice blocking the stuffs inside to come out.
