Great service I went around 6ish , the Host was OK, I informed her that I had thongs on and in your site that states no things. I asked and kinda got a shrug, like wow you have thongs on. Not to be put of I used the bathroom, stunning views. I got a great seat next to the hostess excess area think table 22. Far left cornet next to the bar. I literally just had a a bad experience at little sisters. The reason I went to Rocco's was because of that. My server was outstanding helpful and courteous with a genuine smile. I didn't get her name she is asian and works at Calypsos. What a gem she is. God bless stay humble and kind

We stayed at another Crystalbrook hotel, and booked dinner at Rocco for a girls' night catch-up/staycation. The communication with Fabrizio, the manager, was amazing from the start. He organised a bottle of lovely 0% rosé to be available for a sober member of our party, which was awesome. The location on the rooftop on the Esplanade is stunning. The Moroccan-style decor beautiful. All the service, from the host as soon as we arrived, to our absolutely gorgeous and friendly waiter, Alejandra, was 5 star. Fabrizio came to check everything was OK and we received the wine he'd ordered. But the food was next level. We had a labneh, poached pear and dukkah dip to start, and then shared the lamb cooked in whey, chicken and pomegranate skewers, and broccolini side, and everything was absolutely divine. The wine list was well curated, and although we didn't indulge in cocktails, the ones we saw looked great. Thanks so much to all the staff for a fabulous night, and special shout-out to Alejandra for making our night, and being such a ray of sunshine. 10/10 night.

Rocco was such a pleasant surprise. Was walking on the esplanade and noticed the building and decided to go in. Coming out of the lift are first presented with the exquisite atmosphere and we are guided to our table by the very nice host. The light up menus are such a nice touch. We were seated at a high table but the chairs were so comfortable. Alejandra was our waitress and she did an amazing job guiding us through the night and helping us with our cocktail choices. The food is great quality-price and the Lalla cocktail is a new favourite. All the front of house staff was very welcoming but I have to give a special thanks to Alejandra for her exceptional service. Will definitely visit again when back in Cairns in the future

We had a wonderful evening at Rocco - the food was amazing (the warm pita bread makes any of the dips even better, and the saffron rice was just incredible!), the cocktails were great creations, the view was of course stunning and our waitress was just the best! Alejandra made sure that we weren’t missing anything, that we enjoyed our evening (so did her manager but we didn’t get his name) and her charming character made the overall experience even better!

We so enjoyed Rocco’s, every night of our stay had a pre-dinner cocktail and enjoyed the view before heading out for dinner. On our last night, we had dinner here as well. It was great. We were celebrating our anniversary and they brought us a desert. Everyone who took care of us was so friendly, Pietro, Sasha & Lucia!
