I ate the butter chicken and my friend the chicken tikka masala and it was the best thing we have eaten in brisbane! 100% recommend coming here!! Everything was nice, big portions and a good priceโค๏ธ
We had such a great experience here! We are from Los Angeles and heard the Indian food is much better in Brisbane. This was not a lie! We got the beef roganjosh and lamb vindaloo curries along with Punjabi naan, chicken paneer naan, and roti. We also had the mango lassi which was unlike anything Iโve tried before. Everything was unique and absolutely incredible, and the staff were sooo kind and so helpful! Shout out to Nav and Atinder ๐. Thank you for making our experience at Punjabi Palace so wonderful!
It is brilliant place for Indian food. Real Indian in Brisbane I would say. We had the Kadai chicken and Naan. It was delicious. I felt like one Naan would be perfect for one person. Mudit was charming and had a great smile. Very friendly person. Will surely return when in Brisbane.
โI eat out constantly and rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Punjabi Palace was honestly one of the most disappointing Iโve had. After waiting a long time for our food, the quality simply wasn't there. โThe Food: The Mix Veg was so incredibly dry and tasteless that we left it almost entirely untouched. The Chhole Bhature was mediocre at best; the bhature felt more like small puris or basic bread rather than authentic, fluffy bhature. โThe Drinks: The Lemon Lime Bitter and Tea were the worst part of the meal. Both lacked any standard flavorโthe LLB was tasteless and the tea was undrinkable. We ended up leaving those on the table as well. โThe Service:When I raised these concerns with the female staff member, she didn't react or offer any explanation, which was very frustrating. However, I must mention that Gokul was a bright spotโhe was really nice and served us very well despite the kitchen's shortcomings. โAs someone who appreciates good food and always eats out, I expected much more from a place like this. I wonโt be returning.
Unfortunately not a pleasant dining experience as the starter of Lamb Seekh Kebab came with some paper wrapping cooked inside with it that made us feel sick to the stomach when we saw it after eating a couple of them. Advised the staff who apologised, advising no charge which of course is the least they could do. We also found it was that noisy we had to shout to be heard, moved to a table as far away from a big group that was mainly responsible. No plans to return.
