This is the first time I’ve tried Phovela QV1 and it definitely did not disappoint!!! Ordered their Bánh Canh and their crispy pork vermicelli salad and both were really good! Portion was also huge, so I had to pack away (did not expect their crispy pork salad to be this big but still delicious otherwise)!!! Will definitely come back!

We came here for dinner using a discount voucher. We ordered a mango smoothie, a soup, a salad and the prawn Vietnamese rice paper rolls. The rice paper rolls were disappointing as they were filled with old lettuce and too many noodles, and the prawns didn’t look fresh. The pork and beef meatball vermicelli salad was tasty. The pork rib and prawn thick soup, however, was lacklustre and seemed watered down. The smoothie was average. The service was very friendly, and the food took about 25 minutes to arrive. This was during dinner service, and the restaurant was not busy, with only one couple and a small family dining in. The cutlery at the self-serve station was also a bit dirty.

I had the fish noodle soup at Phovela, and honestly, it was incredible from start to finish! The broth was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced — not too salty, not too oily — just the right depth of flavor that makes you want to finish every drop. The fish was fresh, tender, and beautifully cooked, and all the ingredients tasted really clean and high-quality. The presentation was lovely, and you can tell they put care into every bowl they serve. Portion size was generous, and everything came out hot and fresh. The staff were so kind and attentive, always smiling and making sure customers felt welcome. I also loved the cozy, modern atmosphere — it’s clean, comfortable, and feels like a perfect place to enjoy authentic Vietnamese comfort food. As someone who’s tried many Vietnamese restaurants in Perth, I can honestly say this is one of the best. Everything — the food, service, and vibe — was absolutely spot-on. I’ll definitely be coming back and bringing my friends next time! 💯

The atmosphere is casual, clean, and often bustling, but they move the queue fast. If you're craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine in the heart of Perth, you can't go wrong with Phovela. It delivers high-quality, fresh flavors every time.

Very nice and satisfying meal. Generous portions. The chicken wings were so crunchy and cooked perfectly. Staff were friendly but there was a little language barrier to navigate when trying to order.
