This is my favourite pho place on the lower north shore - maybe in all of Sydney. I've tried the same dish at all the major pho chains in the area and it's this tiny store that beats them all, every time. It's so easy to miss - just a little place near North Sydney train station. But if you love pho, you have to try it here. The broth, the noodles, the beef - all are delicious to the last bite. They have all the little add ons your heart could desire in abundance. Service is fast, friendly and impeccable every time without fail, no matter the day or the weather. I have been coming to this place for maybe six months now on a regular basis, and figured it was time I left them a review. And on my days when I can't finish my favourite order (a large bowl of combination beef pho) they are more than happy to put the rest in a take away container for me. To top it all off, they have a loyalty programme - make sure you grab one of their loyalty cards, because I can almost guarantee you will be back!

Rating: 3/5 Phononenon is conveniently located just outside North Sydney station, which makes it a handy spot for a quick lunch. I ordered the combination beef pho $18.50 and my friend had the chicken pho. The broth was nice but the portions were on the smaller side. Unfortunately, the beef in mine was quite dry and didn’t taste very fresh. My friend felt the same about her chicken – the pieces were dry and a little tough. Overall, friendly service but the pho didn’t hit the mark for us due to the dried pieces of meat in our pho.

First time at Phonomenon and it really lived up to the name! My Vietnamese friend brought me here, so I knew it’d be authentic - and it really was. Pho was super fresh with rich, full flavor. Lemongrass bánh mì was also so delicious, nicely seasoned and crispy!! Please try their Vietnamese coffee, it was strong and smooth. Service was quick, friendly and the owner was lovely!! Will definitely come back☺️

Best vegan pho I ever had. Can’t believe it could be that good!! The service very quick and friendly. Earlier also had a Banh mi as well which was also great. Highly recommended for great Vietnamese food!
