Absolutely tasty Pho with beef and Meatballs. So much flavour and not boiling hot that you can eat it straight away. We did wait about 20 minutes for our meals but it was very busy. Lucky we got our own table.
The Bun Rieu is amazing, we loved it, but we see a hair inside, we are not very strict so it's okay, we will come next time but I hope that the shop should be careful about dropping hair into food
My serve of Bun Rieu (Vietnamese Crab soup) is huge. Came with traditional serve of shrimp paste and side shredded water spinach and one other veg. Broth is clear (before extra seasoning), tasty. Bonus point for steaming hot ♨️ I also ordered Herbal drink (more like light dessert) for T/A. Very nice choice of ice, crushed not chunky. It was refreshing and helpful when I was bloated after the meal. The ingredients filled more than half of the cup, unlike food court.
Updated review: we have just spent three weeks traveling north to south Vietnam and how lucky are we that our local Pho is still the best!! It is authentic more so to northern Vietnam. The broth is so tasty, and the beef so tender. Only suggestion I would make is to reduce the serving size! It is double the size of those in Vietnam. Would be good to offer a smaller size option on the menu :) Suburban Gem! Fast efficient service. Crispy pork Banh Mi; roll had the perfect crunch, as did the pork. Lemongrass Beef Vermicelli Salad was a generous serving with lots of tender flavoursome beef. Very enjoyable, highly recommend!
Best Vietnamese food in Darwin. Love the pork belly sooooo much. The crispy pork belly in most places in Darwin, the skin is not crispy with the meat being either too dry or too salty. In this restaurant, the skin of pork belly is very crispy like a cracker with juicy meat which is not very salty.
