Absolutely loved this place. The pho broth is damn good. It is rich, sweet and savoury in the best way. Portion is very generous with loads of meat, tendon and brisket. Having it on raining day, makes you so satisfied. The chicken wings are perfection: crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside.
Super relaxed and nice vibe. I used to live in Springvale and have been missing good Vietnamese food. This place hit the spot and has awesome Pho. I have spring rolls as well and lemon grass chicken. Highly recommend
Great atmosphere and a great dining experience - ignore all the haters / naysayers with the 1 star reviews - as a Vietnamese who's very picky about his Phแป Tรกi Nแบกm I have been to many restaurants in the western suburbs where it's seemingly favoured for their pho, this place gives them easily a run for their money, if not better. The broth is very clean, lighter yet just as impactful and clearly a labour of love - the owner is very passionate about his restaurant, his cooking and it shows through the quality and taste. Thanks for sharing the mini secret about the chicken stock! Very authentic and feels like it was a home-style cooked pho, the one your parents would make that brings the nostalgia, the one you remember and long for. The kumquat juice picked from his very own garden was great too! As a bonus, we were greeted by his (i think) son at the door who promptly returned to his math homework. That's commitment and testament to the hard working family-owned restaurant work ethic I have a deep respect for, having grown up in a similar background. Chรบ - thank you for the dining experience! As promised, here's your review! (look forward to seeing your reply as you promised too!) just had to fight off the rain first. I dined around 11:30 today - me, my brother and our friend! Hope to return in the future sometime - I don't go to the city often, but when I do I'll make a conscious effort to return here. Cheers William
If youโre looking for authentic food & service, Pho A Gogo is your place. The food is fresh, flavoured & delicious. Having been to Vietnam, the phoโs definitely on par with locals. The service is your typical Asian authentic style so it makes you feel right at home (might not be for everyone but coming from Hong Kong, I felt right at home). The owner was friendly and tried to converse with everyone which felt very personal. Definitely would recommend!
First came here three years ago and had amazing food, so came back again when visiting Melbourne. First off, the owner is super friendly and makes the time to chat and make you feel welcome. The food is excellent and has a bit of a home style vibe. The pho in particular has an excellent, clean, northern style broth. Spring rolls with lettuce were also some of the best I've had and you can tell they're made in house.
