We had such a great time at Paroro Korean BBQ. The all-you-can-eat setup has so many options and being able to choose and grill everything yourself makes it really fun. The food was fresh and tasty and we honestly ate way more than planned, we were so full by the end. The Paroro signature beer was super smooth and a great match with the BBQ. Staff were friendly and always happy to help, and the overall vibe was relaxed despite being in the city. A great spot for catching up with friends and enjoying a proper BBQ feast.
Great selection from wagyu cuts, seafood, sashimi, sushi, hot food, side dishes and dessert. Place is spacious. No smokey greasy smell like youโd find in other places. Sashimi selection was not plenty but these didnโt have fishy smell so thumbs up for that. Would love to have more wagyu and marinated selection but the cooked bulgogi made up for that. When two girls meet after a yearโฆ You know itโs not just a catch-up โ itโs a full debrief session over food ๐๐ฅ We ended up at Paroro BBQ, because honestlyโฆ nothing beats the comfort of a good Korean grill. The food here never fails โ high quality, easy, and so satisfying. The beef cuts were buttery soft, the sweet potato noodles were addictive, and that fried chickenโฆ fwaa bomb ๐ฅ Add a glass (or two) of tap beer and suddenly life updates feel a lot more fun. Simple, cozy, and seriously good โ just how catch-ups should be. ๐ฅข๐ป
I would give this place zero stars if I could. My experience at Paroro Korea BBQ was dreadful from start to finish. โThe service was incredibly poor. I accidentally ordered a Coke Zero through the QR code system and immediately asked the staff if I could change it to a regular Coke. They flatly refused and were very impolite about it, which set a terrible tone for the rest of the meal. โUnfortunately, the food quality was just as bad as the service. The meats were tough and chewy, and the seafood was clearly not fresh. I was shocked to see sushi sitting out on a bar table instead of in a refrigerated section, which is a major food safety concern. To make matters worse, the salad and kimchi were placed right next to bowls intended for raw meat, creating a serious risk of cross-contamination. All the pre-cooked options were dry, hard, and looked like they had been sitting out for hours. โThe atmosphere was also a huge issue. The restaurant is located on the first floor, above a pokies venue, and the smell of stale cigarettes hits you the moment you walk in the ground-level entrance. The smell was so strong that it drifted upstairs, and I could smell cigarette smoke while I was trying to eat. โDo not waste your money here. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It was an awful experience all around
One of the best all you can eat spots in Melbourne! The food is fresh, tasty, and always refilled quickly. So many choices. from meats and seafood to veggies and desserts. Staff are friendly and the vibe is fun, perfect for group dinners. Great value for the price, youโll definitely leave full and happy!
