Side dishes (banchan) here are FAR better and way more generous than any other Korean spots in Adelaide. Lunch specials during the week are pretty good too.. $19 for my meal ๐
This Korean restaurant is probably the best one around here. My friends and I ordered spicy pork, kimchi soup, and cheese fried chicken. In order of how good they were: spicy pork first, then kimchi soup, and lastly the cheese fried chicken. The chicken was just okay in flavor but nicely crispy. The other two dishes were really good.
cold dishes are quite good i like the cold noodles with a bit sweetness Boneless KFC 500g with two tastes, we picked snow cheese and honey butter flavor, fried chicken in snow cheese is super yummy good seasonings honey butter flavor is good, following the snow cheese flavor, iโve eaten four pieces of this too crazy and evil for me hahahah but simply too yummy la very crispy tasting sweet with complex flavor ohmygod finally i got five piecesโฆtoo crazy this is the best dishes for tonight yayayaaa seafood pancake tasting good having crispy shrimps, squids but overall a bit oily sharing is the best haha pork hock (knuckle) with large size is just soso, the taste is a bit wired and a bit tasteless guess whether they have been cooked in the soup first and later serve usโฆvery disappointing one Spicy Stir-fried Squid is too spicy laa even they like spicy foods but still too crazyzz, have to dip into the water to purify the spiciness Korean BBQ Pork Meal is fine and taste good but super small portion lollll wonโt order this next time overall the fried chicken is yummy yummy and iโll go coming for this haha, such a good dinner night with fam loveya yayay ParkBong Sook Restaurant taste 4.5 envir 3.7 service 4 hygiene 3.7 value 4.5
Came here the other weekend for some lunch since it was close by. Weโve been here before and remember their lunch menu was affordable for something youโd get somewhere in the city. Coming here for lunch was definitely the right choice because oh my, the food size, portions and freshness of all the menus we got were so good and flavourful - and did I talk about the price already? We all got a soup for ourselves and shared a Korean chicken plate which were so crunchy! One order of soup could easily fit two people, but how can you choose what soup you want when the prices are that good! We came when the store just had a few people on a Sunday around 11, and just a few minutes later a lot more people started coming into the restaurant. We was so glad to have gotten a sit before this rush! Staff were super friendly and nice when we got to interact with them, but due to the restaurant being so busy, we had to get their attention if you need something, but you can tell they were working super hard, so super respect for them during that time! Would definitely recommend this place out if youโre in the city looking for somewhere to eat!
This Korean restaurant is an absolute must-try! Every single dish we ordered was incredibly delicious. We visited with seven people, including two kids, for a family birthday, and despite being very busy, the food came out impressively fast. โThe Seafood Pancake was a highlight โ loaded with seafood and wonderfully crispy, offering fantastic texture and flavor. โAs a fan of spicy food, the Volcano Chicken Feet were perfect for me! They were incredibly spicy, just how I like them. While my family couldn't handle the heat (more for me!), it's definitely a dish for spice lovers. โThe Pork Hock was incredibly generous in portion size and surprisingly not greasy at all. It was so well-seasoned that it tasted amazing even without the dipping sauce, and the accompanying vegetables were a great touch to cut through any richness. โThe Cold Noodles with Pork Belly were an instant hit and quickly devoured by everyone at the table! The pork belly was incredibly tender, and the refreshing cold noodles, topped with plenty of green onion and crispy fried shallots for added texture, made this a universal favorite. โFor the kids, we ordered the Chicken Noodle Soup. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the chicken was fall-off-the-bone tender, which the little ones absolutely loved. โI highly recommend this place for a delicious and satisfying Korean meal, especially for families or groups!
