A good, modern Korean restaurant. I tried the grilled beef shortrib, which took a while to come out even though they were quite quiet. The meat and marinades are really good, and offer lots of flavour for the tastebuds on top of the delicious tender beef shortrib flavour. The only thing is that like a lot of Korean food, the marinade is heavy on the sugar side making the grilled meats too sweet.

Great food, healthy options, and beautiful presentation! We had a really great experience dining at Ongrill! The food was absolutely delicious — full of well-balanced flavours that taste fresh and satisfying. If you’re looking for a place that serves healthy meals without compromising on taste, this is definitely a fantastic choice. I love that they offer a mix of rice and barley as an option on the menu — such a thoughtful and nutritious touch. The grilled dishes were seasoned perfectly, and dipping them into the sauce made them even more flavorful. The vegetables were fresh and crisp, and we were especially impressed by how good the side salad tasted — we even asked for refills twice! The presentation was also beautiful; you can tell the team put real effort and care into every plate. Overall, we were really satisfied with our visit and will definitely be coming back again soon!

My son & I went to try this venue for an early last Saturday evening dinner. We arrived at approximately 5.30pm without a booking. There were already a few tables occupied by families & we went straight to the counter where you can order & pay. However, you can also order via a QR code from your table. Restaurant itself is nice, however I found the tables are way too close to each other (just my own personal preference to have a little more space between tables). What we ordered: Char grilled Scotch Fillet $38 Tteocochi & Chorizo $12.90 Chips $8.90 Steamed Rice $3.50 Kimchi Side $3.00 We enjoyed our meal & everything was tasty & fresh. My son had the scotch fillet & said it was juicy & tender - although it was cooked more towards medium as it came to the table on a hot stone & kept cooking whilst it was served (he prefers medium rare). The restaurant was actually full by the time we left at around 6.30pm so I would suggest to book for during peak lunch or dinner periods. A popular venue obviously so I would recommend for anyone who enjoy reasonable, casual Korean food.

I don't often leave reviews, but my boyfriend has recommended this place to me many times, and today I finally came here! When I walked in, I was greeted by the delicious smell!!!!!! I ordered the potato noodles, oh my goodness, the noodles cooking time was perfect, and the sauce was distributed so evenly. How do they do it? Most importantly, the place is very clean, and the food is incredibly fresh and healthy. I definitely come back.

If you're looking for a healthy and high-quality meal, this is the place to be! We had such a great experience at Ongrill. I honestly didn’t expect a place that focuses on grilled meat to feel this healthy, but everything tasted really clean and well-balanced. The meat was fresh and cooked just right — not too greasy, not too salty — and you could tell they use good quality ingredients. I also really appreciated the sides; the veggies were super fresh and actually made the whole meal feel kind of nourishing. It’s not easy to find a place where you can enjoy grilled food and still feel like you ate something good for your body, but Ongrill really hit that balance. Definitely a place I’d go back to — especially on days I want something satisfying but not heavy.
