This is my first time here. The food is delicious and the drinks as well. Will be back trying the coffee and different menu.I like the seatings at the front. The service is good. One of the girls who I ask for changing the seats seems annoyed but the rest who took our order and serve our food is really nice and kind. We bought two cookies home which was delicious! I gave 5 stars because overall experience is good ๐๐ฉท
โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ HeavenlySipsCoffee Review โ Ondo Cafe Breakfast / Lunch | $$ Coffee: 3.5โญ | Food: 4โญ | Service: 3.5โญ | Atmosphere: 4.5โญ Ondo Cafe feels like one of those quiet, hidden gems youโd only know about if someone told you โ slightly tucked away, but once you step in, it opens up beautifully. Itโs a Korean cafรฉ with a calm, considered atmosphere and a layout that really works. The large window brings in great natural light, and the mix of indoor seating plus benches out front makes it a lovely place to sit and slow down for a bit. But as alwaysโฆ the story starts with the cup. โ Coffee โ 3.5โญ The coffee was good overall โ balanced and drinkable โ but by the time it reached me, the milk had saturated slightly, which took away from that silky texture and clarity you want in a milk-based coffee. Nothing wrong with the flavour itself, just a timing/execution detail that made it feel a little flatter than it couldโve been. Still enjoyable, just not quite dialled to its full potential. ๐ฝ Food โ 4โญ Ondoโs food offering leans into Korean comfort-style dishes, which is refreshing compared to the usual cafรฉ fare. Their menu includes heartier options like rice-based dishes, noodle soups, and bibimbap-style plates, alongside lighter cafรฉ staples. Itโs definitely worth checking the menu online beforehand, especially if youโre going specifically for food โ there are options that feel more intentional and thoughtful than standard brunch menus. ๐ Service โ 3.5โญ Service was fine โ nothing to fault, nothing that stood out. Functional and calm, which suits the vibe of the space. ๐ฟ Atmosphere โ 4.5โญ This is where Ondo really shines. Relaxed, bright, and understated, with a space that invites you to stay rather than rush. Great for solo coffees, quiet catch-ups, or a slower morning. The window seating is a highlight. Overall: A solid spot with a strong atmosphere and a food menu that makes it worth returning. With a little more precision on the coffee side, this place could easily level up even further. Iโll be back โ especially to explore more of the menu. Every cups tells a story. Check out my YouTube/Instagram page @HeavenlySipsCoffee
Came here a few times over the week and it was always great. We only came for drinks though. Amazing coffees/iced mocha but the main draw was the best matcha clouds my gf has had. Extremely clean place, really friendly staff.
The food here is simply wonderful. It is not hard to see how much care and thought goes into the preparation and presentation of each dish. We ordered the yukhwe bibimbap set, makguksu and galbi. Each component of the bibimbap worked harmoniously together, and the garlic rice was especially delicious! The broth was clean, balanced and made for a great palate cleanser. The makguksu was simple but delicious, the perilla oil definitely adds an umami flavour. We would recommend ordering some kind of protein to accompany it as the flavour and textures can become quite monotonous overtime. That being said, it paired well with the galbi and fresh vegetables that came with it. Overall, we loved our experience at Ondo and highly recommend it if youโre on the hunt for some cosy, honest food that celebrates quality ingredients. Thank you Ondo team!
The atmosphere here is wonderful, with classic background music and very friendly staff. The food comes out a little slowly, but itโs beautifully presented and you can really see the chefsโ effort in every dish. The beer is also fantastic!
