Bustling spot with an open plan kitchen showing the tram dish out incredible food at a blitzingly quick rate! The food was delicious with such great detail, the highlights include the batata harara with a perfectly complimented combination of toum and fermented chilli, the brussel sprouts topped with tempura fried onions for amazing texture and the twice cooked duck was hearty balanced beautifully with oranges and plums.
Hands down one of the best dining experiences of my life. From the moment we walked into this beautiful fine-dining Middle Eastern restaurant in Surry Hills, everything felt special. The atmosphere was warm, elegant and intimate without ever feeling stuffy. The service was truly exceptional. Attentive without being intrusive, genuinely warm, deeply knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what they do. Every recommendation โ from food to wine โ was flawless. You feel completely looked after here. And the foodโฆ I honestly donโt even know where to begin. Every dish was a masterpiece. Thoughtfully crafted, perfectly balanced, bursting with flavour and creativity. This wasnโt just a meal โ it was an experience. Without hesitation, this sits comfortably in the top three best meals Iโve ever had in my entire life. Each plate told a story, honouring Middle Eastern flavours while elevating them to something truly unforgettable. The wine selection was outstanding and paired beautifully with the menu, elevating the entire experience even further. This is the kind of restaurant that reminds you why dining out can be magical. Impeccable food, world-class service, incredible wine and an atmosphere that makes you never want to leave. If youโre considering going โ do it. 100% recommend. We ate here as a group of 4 on a weekday night. We had the set menu and were able to swap out the lamb for the fish of the day. All of the food was delicious and the service was great! Very easy to make any of the dishes gluten free and the staff are attentive to dietries.
From the second we walked in the door we felt welcome. I'm so glad sitting at the kitchen counter was recommended because it was fun to get an up close view of the masterfully skilled chefs. We were celebrating Christmas away from our family and choose the Festive Feast with the Wagyu bavette which was one of the best meals of our lives. Highlights for me were the octopus and the eggplant. Our server Julie and all the staff at Nour are incredible. I'm so glad we found this place! Highly recommend and will definitely be back next time we're in Sydney! Thank you very much!โค๏ธ
Nour has been a fantastic experience. We had a tasting menu with a wide variety of starters and mains. Everything was delicious, And well balanced. The mix of seafood, vegetarian and meat dishes delivered great flavours. The food was so good that I forgot to take pictures. Service was attentive and knowledgeable. This is certainly an address to come back to at some point.
