Nice Meh? More like nice, lah! I’d been meaning to eat here for a while, though the opening hours are a little inconvenient and it’s a fair hike from work. After some pestering, my wife relented today. I didn’t even know exactly where the outlet was until she pointed out the crowd of Malays happily enjoying their dishes. Prices are affordable — in fact, maybe a little too cheap for the quality. The counter displayed a spread of assorted dishes, with the menu showing items crossed off in true hawker style. By the time we arrived, only Hainanese chicken rice and laksa remained. Perfect fit: my wife has a psychotic hatred of chilli, while I’m obsessed with noodle soups. Our takeaway was ready in no time. This laksa is single‑handedly the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of slurping. Balanced ingredients, including decently sized prawns, and a broth alive with mystique. Salty, sour, spicy, sweet, savoury — all five notes ticked off in one hit. It caused a short‑circuit moment in my brain (very few dishes do that). Highly recommended.

The food is so good, and I’m honestly obsessed with the chicken rice! I’m always happy with everything we’ve tried. It’s so nice not having to travel all the way to Brisbane for a taste of home anymore & now we have delicious, comforting home style food right here in Toowoomba. Highly recommend!! 🫶🏻✨

Amazing food. I've managed to try the rendang and Hainanese chicken and they are both sensational. So nice to have such authentic dishes in Toowoomba. We used to have to drive to Indooroopilly for Hainanese chicken this good, now it's just around the corner. Looking forward to watching this small, family owned business blossom.
