Lovely spot we stumbled across. The owner is quite friendly and when I said vegan she was happy to accommodate and recommend things that they can make vegan on request. Everything tasted fresh and the food came out on a timely manner. My favourite has to be the mushroom dish.

Absolutely love this place! The food at Mr. Rice is authentic and full of flavour — the grilled fish was perfectly cooked, spicy and rich, and the spring rolls were crispy and fresh. Every dish tastes just like real Chinese home cooking 🥢 The atmosphere is cosy and modern, and it’s such a nice place to enjoy a meal with friends. Definitely a hidden gem on Darby Street!

The food is quite enjoyable, and the dumplings are particularly delicious, though I regret not taking a photograph. The service is commendable, especially the friendly lady boss. While the indoor seating may be a bit compact, there is also outdoor seating available.

Mr Rice is hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants in Newy. Everything is so fresh and delicious and the service is exceptional. It also has great GF options including dumplings. I highly recommend it!

We came across this little gem last week and it was so delicious we have come for dinner again on our way home. The food was delicious even the fried rice was exceptional. They are friendly and a great atmosphere. Do yourself a favour.
