Stumbled across this gem but accident. Amazing food and service. Hidden gem highly recommend for a date night or dinner with friends. Definitely would go again.

This is our very first time here, and I can guarantee we will be back again, again, and again! The manager Josh was welcoming from the moment we stepped foot in the door. And he took care of us the entire night. The atmosphere is extremely calming, sexy, and romantic! Perfect to celebrate an anniversary, and should be on the top of your date night list! The food......where do I start!!! Extremely high quality, without the high price tag. Cocktails are like nothing we have ever tasted in Sydney before. Highly highly recommend this place!! Without a doubt, you will not be disappointed...especially if you love traditional Japanese food with a twist!!

this is the cosiest japanese izakaya!! definitely perfect for date nights! or even chilling with friends drinking! i absolutely love the kingfish sashimi and tuna carpaccio, it was 10,000/10! ABSOLUTE PERFECT dishes! i also love the shiso calpris drink, it was so smooth and refreshing; and perfect balance of sweetness! i ended the course with a matcha tiramisu and it was heavenly good!

Delicious food tucked in a quiet part of Crown Street. It has two levels. We dined downstairs which also has a mini bar. The ambiance is intimate and pleasant. The menu consists of small and large dishes, Japanese fusion. I really like the small rice dish with fish on the top. The smell was fantastic resembling the grilled unagi. The rice was flavoursome with nori flakes. It was like having sushi and risotto combined. The other one was chicken tsukune with egg yolk. Yum. For myself, the large dish of duck and fish tasted okay. Enjoyable but nothing special. We were also enjoyed drinking at mini bar after dinner. Staffs were friendly and efficient. Would recommend this venue and come back for other dishes.

One of my favourite restaurants in Sydney! The food is incredible, the vibe is intimate, and I love that every visit feels personal! I can have a genuine chat with the staff and just have fun with them. The service is always amazing and everyone is so lovely! Thank you Chi and Amber for making it such a fun night!
