My favorite Japanese restaurant in Brisbane. Food is fresh and tasty. Sashimi is very fresh and delicious. If you like hotpot(ish), I recommend sukiyaki serving with good quality of beef and delicious soup with fresh vegetables and eggs. I was suggested to cook the beef and dip it into whisked raw egg and just eat it. It's very delicious! 🤤

The overall experience was good, with a nice atmosphere and friendly service. Presentation of the dishes was impressive and everything looked amazing. Everything about the experience — from the atmosphere to the service — was great.

Went a few weeks ago and to say we were not disappointed is an understatement! It was delectable. Had an assortment of dishes, as you do at a place like this. The soft shell crab was a stand out but everything was great. It was so good we even stayed for the deep fried ice cream!

Came here today with my husband for his birthday dinner 🎉 I absolutely love the vibe of this place — very atmospheric and cozy. It’s located right under the Story Bridge. Even though you can't see the bridge directly, the ambiance already makes up for it! The interior has a minimalist Japanese aesthetic, which feels so calm and relaxing. Since I mentioned it was for a birthday celebration, they kindly arranged a more private corner for us. That was such a thoughtful touch ❤️ ✨ What I recommend: Sukiyaki: The wagyu beef was incredibly tender and fresh — literally melts in your mouth. Highly recommended! Mobo Roll: A must-try roll with salmon and scallop. Super fresh and surprisingly filling. Kingfish Sashimi: Clean, sweet, and refreshing! Lastly — I have to talk about their amazing service! I ordered a dessert for the birthday, and I expected a simple candle, but they surprised us with a decorated plate and a sparkler! 🎇 It was such a sweet moment. A beautiful location tucked away just beneath Brisbane’s most iconic landmark. The food is just as iconic. The ambience is tranquil and inviting as though a little splash of Kyoto has hidden itself within Queensland’s capital. The food is like nothing else. Mouth watering and arrived in record time. Every staff member was engaging and delivered every item with care and a smile. We love returning here. On this occasion we celebrated our anniversary. We’ve decided to return again next year.
