Absolutely love the food! Full of flavours ,so tasty and spicy! There was a lunch menu which was a good deal but we didn't go for that. We had the K-BBQ, gyoza, kimchi, toekboki, fried udon noodles, chicken wings and few sides. Total cost was not bad for 3 people including drinksl! Will definitely come back! The ladies who served us were friendly and helped us choose our meat platter. The restaurant was nice and simple with plenty of spaces between tables (not cramped at all). Not noisy which is nice.
Ordered the kimchi pancake, that was crusty and slightly spicy and is one of the best kimchi pancakes I have had in a Korean restaurant in the UK. However I was not impressed by the beef bulgogi. I felt there was an unbalanced excess of rice compared to the other ingredients. The rice was bland, but the meat had some flavour to it. There was a nice crust of the rice at the bottom but it definitely needed more flavour.
This has been my favourite place to eat for years, and itโs always spot on. The fried udon noodles are unreal โ perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and always satisfying. The staff are great too โ really friendly and have been for years, they also know their stuff. They suggested I try the salt and pepper chicken and it was seriously good. Crispy, well-seasoned, and definitely something Iโll order again. Consistently good food, Cheap, welcoming people, and a place Iโll keep coming back to.
We went there around 9:30 we are worried that we might not be able to dine in as the restaurant will close soon. The staff are friendly and they recommend the food. We chose 2 set menu. Really delicious. Will go back again highly recommended
First time here and first time for this cuisine. Must admit it wasn't entirely to my taste but that's the risk trying something new. We shared a meal for 2, chicken and beef cooked in the kitchen. It did look more fun cooking it yourself so will if I come again. Everything was cooked nice, came quick and staff were friendly, if a little clumsy with the food. Barley tea is an acquired taste, as is Kimchi ๐ but the chicken was spot in tho.
