We were apprehensive to eat here as some reviews were not very promising. However, the 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our evening here. I cannot tolerate salty food so spoke to the owner, who very kindly reduced the sauces they cook some of the food in. Between the 4 of us we had quaill, hot n sour soup, 3 x sizzling dishes (beef, duck and fish), a huge plate of veggies, and a curry. Shared rice. It was ALL good. Being BYO certainly helped the pocket too. They asked us we wanted a wine bucket (yes please) and brought water without us requesting it - something I appreciate. The young lad taking our orders was nervous yet managed our order perfectly! The walls were brightly decorated. An adjustment I would make to improve ambiance is dim the restaurant lights a bit. Thank you. Based on this particular experience we WILL be back. 👌

Don't expect Malaysian style cooking here. Just lousy generic Aussie Asian style food. Owner/chef himself admitted to that. If you are Malaysians attracted by the name Malay Paradise, don't dine in there. Flee as fast as possible. I'd rather drive for 35min to dine in Yahoo Malaysian and Chinese Restaurant at Waterford West.

The spring rolls are absolutely delicious. The deep fried and steamed dim sims are the best I’ve tasted. I always feel confident ordering a meal from this restaurant. It never disappoints - and tastes exactly how a meal should taste - home cooked. Thank you for the care you take in ensuring that you deliver what you advertise.

This is my second visit and I have enjoyed the food on both the occasions . Felt the soup portion could have been bigger 😋. Will be back to eat more 😁 Repeat visit and tried the fried Ice-cream... And the prawns salt and pepper .. That ice cream is awesomeeeeeeeee

Always a great meal, salt and pepper calamari (always superb), Malaysian boneless pork ribs and, on this occasion, lemon chicken were all excellent (fresh lemon zest soared through in the taste-lovely). Guaranteed lovely meal with stuff left to take home after and you can BYO in a relaxed place (means you don't have to do the washing up:) A lovely family run this place and we are lucky to have it locally.
