Madame Linh is a lovely Vietnamese restaurant that truly delivers on flavour, quality, and experience. From the moment we arrived, the owner and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel comfortable right away. The food was excellent across the board: • Crispy pork bánh mì – the pork skin was exceptionally crispy, perfectly balanced with soft bread and fresh fillings. • Dry char siu noodles – the sauce was rich and flavourful, coating the noodles beautifully and soaking in well. • Grilled pork spring rolls (gỏi cuốn nem nướng) – the nem nướng here is noticeably different from what you usually find in Australia, with a unique and memorable taste. • Betel leaf beef (bò lá lốt) – tender, juicy, and not dry at all, served with a deliciously seasoned sauce. • Fried spring rolls (chả giò) – fragrant, slightly rich, and very satisfying. • Char siu bao – soft, fluffy buns with a generous and tasty filling. The drinks were just as enjoyable. Both the matcha latte and coffee were smooth and not overly sweet, which we really appreciated. The restaurant itself is very convenient with plenty of parking available, the space is open, airy, and beautifully designed, and the dishes are presented beautifully. Ordering is simple and easy, making the whole dining experience relaxed and enjoyable from start to finish. Overall, Madame Linh offers comforting Vietnamese flavours with excellent execution, warm service, and a well-thought-out space. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese food done right in Melbourne. 🌿🍜🥖
Wonderfully fresh and high quality, light Thai/Viet food. Perfect for an easy, lazy lunch. Everything was clearly freshly prepared and made on the spot, and to a very good standard of quality. It really hit the spot after a hot summer day. The fresh iced teas are particularly good, especially the 'summer lemon'. But the best part was the price - food for two people, who stuffed themselves, was barely $45, including drinks!
Highly recommended!! We came here on a Sunday afternoon and had great experience. Looks like they just changed the owner. The staff was very friendly. The food was amazing. The grilled chicken was perfectly cooked. Vegetable food was nice as well. They even gave us %5 discount when paid in cash. Definitely will come back more!!!
We came here for lunch and absolutely loved it! The highlight was the dried noodle with chargrilled pork, it was packed with flavour. We also ordered an extra meat platter, and the crispy pork was amazing, which was perfectly crispy on the outside yet tender and soft inside. We’ve tried bao buns at many other places, but the ones here truly given authentic Vietnamese flavours. We also ordered the Lychee tea (but forgot to take a picture). The tea for me was ok, very refreshing. The lunch atmosphere was another plus, which is chill, relaxing, and perfect for a casual meal. The staff were friendly, attentive, and paid great attention to detail. Overall, we were very satisfied and will definitely be coming back again!
The pork is super crispy, as is the banh mi itself. Vermicelli portions are very decently sized. My favorite local joint - the staff are lovely and the thai milk tea is *chef’s kiss* There’s a reason for the weekday lunch queue!
