Food as great as ever. Have been eating Tony's excellent dishes for over 35 years as he has developed his own style in varying locations. Great to find him again in Tugun. Understand they have difficulty getting enough staff but we had no complaints whie staying nearby in Coolangatta where we had first found Tony's restaurant. We'll be back whenever we can get down there.
Tony and his delightful staff (many are family) do such a great job. The food is delicious each and every time. We love the Malaccan Curry and Tonyโs amazing Roti (crispy, fluffy and heavenly with the peanut dipping sauce and laksa).
Went for dinner last night with family and friends. What a great night. Food was wonderful. I had the cashew prawns. Loads of prawns and very fresh vegetables. Very generous sized meals. Staff were lovely. Thanks for having us. We will be back.
After recently relocating to Palm Beachโฆwe feel so LUCKY to have found Lucky Mamas as soon as we did because this will be on our list of regular eats. A BYO restaurant with a wonderful warm vibe, I immediately noticed the authentic smells coming from the kitchen and tbh, it took me right back to travelling through Malaysia ๐ฒ๐พ To start we ordered the traditional roti which was beautifully light and fluffy (just how it should be) and the garlic calamari, super fresh and coated in a light tempura style batter. For the main, it was recommended we try the Saltanโs Lamb which was incredible and my favourite dish of the night. We also had the Malaccan chicken curry which was gorgeously creamy, paired the Sambal green beansโฆyou guys need to bottle that Sambal and sell it! ๐ Thank you Josh for your awesome hospitality and well done to the rest of the team for the impeccable service. We will see you again soon!
Thankgoodness we finally found where Tony went!!!! It was worth the 20minute drive..Yay to eating his amazing flakey Roti with satay & curry sauces, Chicken Satay sticks crispy on the outside but supa moist, then onto the huge creamiest flavoursome Laksa, shared with tasty Yangzhoy fried rice, the only little disappointment was the Licheon Kawaii, I was hoping & expecting for sauce to be covering it, pork was crispy but where was rhe deep sauce? We definitely will be back tho, BYO a positive
