This modern restaurant sits within Geebung Bowls Club. The crowd and staff at the Bowls and bar area are a pleasant group. The kitchen offers a good range within their menu from a variety of protein, vegetarian and vegan options. The options extend to their condiments of sambal with fish within- or a sambal with vegetarian mix. At the time of writing, the Geebung store is closing soon, while the Ferny Grove branch remains available. The flavours continue to be available.

Came here for the vegan menu and absolutely loved it! We shared the blue coconut rice with vegan curry, the char kuey tiao, and added a roti. Everything was delicious, I loved the chewy noodles and the curry was delicious. Venue is pretty simple, located inside the bowls club with drinks ordered at a separate bar. I’d definitely love to come back and try the laksa and curry puffs!

***** EDIT 5 stars as we came back and got the Hianese chicken rice and it was absolutely spot on! Got the calamari to start and it wasn’t great, plus served with Thai sweet chilli sauce. The duck special was delicious but the rice was really gluggy and not great. The char kuey tiao was absolutely spot on and we will definitely be back. It was a little bit hard to find and we weren’t aware it was in the bowls club (don’t go there on a Wednesday night as the ukulele thing is 😣) and we were disappointed that the Hianese chicken rice is weekend only. I’ll be back on the weekend for sure.

This restaurant located in a club house serve Malaysian food. Food is pretty authentic and if you crave for Malaysian food in Brisbane, this is worth a try. Personally, I would prefer the food to be less tasty and salty.

I contribute to Google because I search for places within it. It is good to see that a review turned out to be accurate. This place is within Geebung Bowl Club and has a very small sign outside. So, one need to be diligent in looking for it. The foods is as good as any place from back home in Malaysia. I can see that the operator works hard on it. Please keep up the good work. As it is within the club house so plenty of space. Also, please note the operating hours.
