Been wanting to try this place for ages since it's always packed and super popular โ€” definitely a hot lunch spot! Finally got a table today and ordered the beef laksa, and wow โ€” it was incredible. Easily one of the best I've had in Sydney, and I've tried a lot of laksa here, not to mention during my trips to Singapore and Malaysia, so I know a good one when I taste it. The broth was rich, warm, and full of deep umami flavour. The beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender with that smooth, velveted texture that shows it's been prepared right. I went with the rice vermicelli noodles, which soaked up the broth beautifully. Portion size was generous for the price, and the food came out in under 5 minutes. Service was super friendly too โ€” big thanks to the man and woman who served me. Highly recommend checking this place out if youโ€™re a laksa lover or just after a top-notch meal.

There was a lot that I liked about my visit to Laksa King. The restaurant is very popular during lunchtime hours and when we arrived, there was a line out the door. We needed to get a ticket and let staff know how many of us there were before lining up to queue. Despite this, we were seated relatively quickly. There were signs posted around the restaurant saying that the seating time is limited to 30 minutes however on this occasion, it was more flexible. Service was very prompt and efficient, and our food came not long after ordering. I had the chicken laksa ($17.50). I liked that there was a choice of spice level for the soup. The serving size was very good, and you could tell that a lot of ingredients, time, and care went into making the soup. I also really liked that the laksa came with mixed vermicelli and Hokkien noodles. All staff we interacted with were very friendly, helpful, and courteous. It was busy and everyone was working very hard. We were warmly welcomed and made to feel that our patronage was really appreciated.

seafood laksa taste like Singaporean style heavy on the coconut milk. Nevertheless it is tasty. Mamak mee goreng is wet and saucy, does not resemble and taste like the real deal. The Tea tarik is really tarikkkkkkkk.. Very tasty!!

Loved the combination Laksa. Got the spicy ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ version and it was great. Went in on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch at around 1pm and it wasnโ€™t that crowded. Friends ordered the crispy chicken spicy version and that too was advised as great. The service was quick. Best to have a cold drink to settle the spice.

I ordered Crispy Chicken Laksa and it was very tasty. However, a medium level of spice was quite spicy for me. I didn't expect that. A bit too noisy as well but it wasn't too bad. Attaching the latest menu.
