We visited this Malaysian noodle house during its opening week. Understandably, with the promotional offers, there was a very long queue, but we felt it was worth the wait. The dishes we tried were flavourful and served in good-sized portions. Pricing was not unreasonably high, though I would not consider it to be in the very affordable range either.

Had fried chicken chop mee pok. Very well priced, fast service, generous portion size, juicy chicken. Dining area was clean, comfortable seating (it wasnโ€™t crowded but thatโ€™s limited seating so I suspect at popular times it might be harder to find a seat, but they do takeaway too) Overall really good, it hits the Malaysian comfort food spots really well. The menu is similar to coconut house from Elizabeth street 10 years ago.

Today, I ordered and enjoyed the 'Laksa House Special'. All the ingredients were fresh and delicious. The place is clean and tidy. The girl who served me was friendly, polite and welcoming. Laksa House has always served beautiful food, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend Laksa House (Melbourne CBD or Carlton)

Itโ€™s just 15-20 mins walk from CBD to this nice little Malaysian restaurant. Good authentic dishes like laksa, chicken rice, bak kut teh, mee bok etc. The teh tarik is really good, nice Ceylon tea taste. Chendol is also better than most other places The staff are pretty friendly and helpful. Itโ€™s not a big restaurant so you may need to wait in a queue during peak hours. Overall a good and worthwhile experience.

This place is an absolute gem! The fried chicken is freshly deep fried never pre boiled, making it insanely crispy outside and juicy inside, totally addictive! The prawn noodle broth is rich and full of depth, and the Ipoh Hor Fun soup is clear yet packed with incredible flavour. Even their wheatgrass juice is a must every visit! โœจ What I Tried & Loved: ๐Ÿœ Ipoh Hor Fun Soup is aromatic broth with silky rice noodles, pure comfort. ๐Ÿ› Wasabi Honey Fried Chicken Chop Rice I loved its huge portion, juicy chicken, sweet spicy sauce was so addictive! ๐Ÿœ Classic Prawn Noodle is robust broth, genius noodle mix, and flavour bomb. ๐Ÿฆ‘ Fried Squid Rings is such golden and fragrant, gone in seconds. ๐Ÿซ“ Roti with Rendang Beef brings you flaky roti with fork tender Rendang perfection. ๐ŸงŠ Ice Wheatgrass Juice is refreshing, unique, always a must. ๐ŸงŠ Sparkling Ribena Lychee Lemonade is sweet, tangy, bubbly, so fun! Perfectly located near Melbourne Uni, this is my go to spot after class for an authentic, flavour packed Malaysian feed. Highly recommend!
