Great Korean restaurant with great unique menu options that come in huge portions. ๐ฒMando-guk - bone broth with dumplings ๐ฅฉYukhoe - Korean beef tartare ๐Spicy Dakgalbi - spicy and sweet grilled chicken ๐Seafood Jajangmyeon - black bean noodles Everything I had tasted great and I just found my new go-to dish for winter.
Overall, the food exceeded my expectations. The chicken was delicious, and the rice balls were also very good. The jjambbong, however, was extremely large in size, but surprisingly had very little noodles. If three or four people each take a bite, itโs basically gone. Considering the portion, the price felt a bit too expensive. The music was barely noticeable, so all you could really hear was the noise from other customers. I hope this part can be improved. it was a good experience. The food is tasty and offers a good variety, which is why Iโve already visited about three times and plan to come back again in the future.
Love this Korean place in the CBD! Big menu, good vibes, and honestly hard to go wrong here. Loved the soy chicken with those super chewy rice cakes. The beef + salmon yukhoe combo was a surprise favourite. Kimbap and beef bogogi were spot on, and the spicy squid had great flavour. A lot of dishes come as mixed platters so you get heaps to try. Left full and happy โ Would definitely come back!
Korean Town never disappoints! The Teriyaki Chicken Giblets are a must-order so flavourful and crispy. The Wagyu Tteokbokki was another highlight, packed with tender beef and soft rice cakes. I also loved the unique "Bong Bong" squid burger. The best part is the combo BBQ and hot pot, perfect for sharing with friends. Great value for such authentic and delicious food. Highly recommended!
Had dinner on a Tuesday night with a group of 6 people. I had a fantastic experience at Korea Town in Melbourne! The food was absolutely delicious โ fresh, flavorful, and authentically prepared. The menu was very easy to follow, with clear descriptions that made it simple to choose, and I loved the wide variety of dishes available. Thereโs something for everyone, whether youโre craving classic Korean barbecue, Korean fried chicken, or tasty side dishes. The atmosphere was welcoming and vibrant, Iโll definitely be coming back again!
