We really enjoyed our experience dining at Kondalilla Restaurant. A little out from Montville where we were staying but well worth the 10min drive, the restaurant has a tranquil rainforest setting and views out over the trees. We ordered the pappardelle and crispy skinned barramundi which were both really excellent. Very friendly and hospitable wait-staff.
Having not been here before we really didn't know what to expect. Right from walking in, it was a delightful surprise. Staff are very friendly, conscientious and knowledgeable. Food was good, prices were realistic and servings were generous. We had the burgers and they tasted good. The risotto was good and the noodles were very good. Don't hesitate to go. Dessert was beautiful โค๏ธ

A beautiful location and friendly staff. While it was a drizzling day, we got to sit on the deck and could enjoy the natural surroundings. Service staff were friendly and helpful. The kangaroo Thai-inspired salad was the highlight. The risotto was underwhelming. The lamb curry was however very tasty.
I have fine dined in some of the highest rated restaurants and this place seriously shocked me. Wow! Straight to the top of the list. We spent 5pm - 8pm out on the deck so we got to experience the atmosphere during daylight, sunset and at night and its absolutely gorgeous with terrific views and great lighting and light music. You seriously couldnt improve it. The food was all delicious with amazing flavours and well priced. We tried some thai dishes and the wagyu steak which was perfectly cooked. The drinks, specifically the whisky was a great price at only $10-11 for a JD/Makers Mark in a generous sized glass which you wont find at any normal pub which is usually $14+ and a tiny glass. Cheesecake desert was soooooo good. See you next month ๐
