Not as good as it used to be. Seems to be slipping. Hit and miss with the quality and service.

Cold banh mi here. They also put butter & mayo on them so it’s good to know if you want a vegan tofu one. Flavour was gross, and the cool-room temp food was hard to get the meal down. Could only get thru half and binned the rest unfortunately. I will be sticking with Great Ocean Rolls down the street. Lovely lady working in the shop but the food was inedible.

Maybe one of the best in Geelong, but by far not the best I had. I enjoyed the lemon grass banh mi, which had a creamy sauce. I hadn't seen that combination before. It did have a good amount of dmfulilling though. And the price was as expected. I can't really find rolls under $10 these days.

Oustanding value for money. For $8.50 I got a very tasty and fresh bbq pork banh mi. The quality of the pork rivals most places that sell roast pork. It wasn't dry and there was plenty of it. I suspected I was in for a treat when I saw how fresh the vegetables were at the prep station and how diligently the chef put it together. The only other thing worth mentioning is that it was quite salty, due to what might have been a generous lashing of Maggi seasoning. So if you're on a low sodium diet maybe watch out. Otherwise, definitely check out Bun U Bakery.
