It’s not often I’m lost for words, but wow. We came in to have lunch today and everything from the service to the food was 10/10!! The corn butter dish, AMAZING - the Angus beef cubes, lemongrass chicken, noodles - all absolutely delish!! I’m going to call it - BEST Vietnamese in Sydney. Do yourselves a favour and try this place out, we will be back 100%!
We came here two nights within 3 days while on a short visit to Sydney. Our local host highly recommended this restaurant. If you are a fan of Pho, be sure to try theirs. It is fresh and tasty. I also also tried their lychee margarita which was excellent. The portions were generous, and the ingredients were fresh. This family owned restaurant was very attentive to detail and customer satisfaction. We would highly recommend this place. The first time we came here for the Pho, they had run out of noodles. That took us by surprise and we were disappointed. However, the food was so good, we came back and now we understand why. The noodles are made fresh every day and so when they are out, they are out. We are so glad we came back.
Great food, reasonably priced, lovely staff, relaxing, ambient vibes. We ordered the Cari Ga (Vietnamese Chicken Curry / $25) and the Ca Xoai (Barramundi Fillet salad / $28). Everything was made fresh and tasted amazing. If you're in Surry Hills, check this place out.
We came for their banquet menu and it didn’t disappoint! The server was welcoming to us and she walked through the dishes in the course with us. Given the cold weather she even recommended to swap cold dessert for entree if we didn’t feel like it, which was very considerate of her. The banquet menu had 8 dishes, and they were all delicious, which I could hardly fault with. My favorite would be ban xeao, which was the highlight of the menu. It was perfectly done with the crispy layer of omelette and the filling inside were flavorful. Loved every bit of it. We swapped dessert for spring rolls and we made the right choice. The spring rolls were fried to perfection, very crispy and flavorsome. I also loved the pork skewer as it was flavorful to my liking with the sauce provided. All in all, we had a pleasant dining experience here and would love to come back again to try more item on their menu.
Had Mother's Day lunch at Khôi’s today, what a lovely restaurant, been meaning to come for some time. Delicious food, great cocktails and the restaurant has a great vibe inside, really enjoyed our lunch. The Black Angus Beef in betel leaves and the Famous Bánh Xèo - Traditional Vietnamese Crispy Pancake were outstanding. Staff were friendly and very accommodating, can't wait to go back and try other dishes on the menu, thank you!
