Love the Nasi Goreng (Indonesian fried rice). Flavour is en pointe ๐๐ Portion size meets expectation from the price tag. Decent size lean towards sharing with friendsโบ๏ธ Friendly attentive staffs who sets the table, cutlery and water at right timings. This spot is popular for afterwork / evening gatherings, definitely a spot to immerse in the inner-city international studentsโ hustle and bustle. The table next to me had flavouring issue with her pandan cheesecake (smelled like wok fried ๐ค). The staffs and kitchen was happy to resend a fresh slice. This service experience saved the experience ๐ Would come back, and recommend for dinner social gatherings๐ค
The staff at Kata Kita were friendly & helpful. The restaurant has a nice design, clean and tidy- makes it a good spot for photos. The food was good, I really liked my food; I got bbq fish with rice and chicken satay. The chicken satay was so yummy and the mean was tender. The restaurant is easy to find even if youโre new to the city.
Sous vide fried duck cooked very well, still moist, and tasty. The egg tofu was a pleasant surprise, so tasty and crunchy. Very friendly service but can be more prompt. Enjoyable restaurant with really good value.
Kata Kita was such a great find! The crispy Chinese broccoli was so good โ perfectly cooked with the right amount of crunch and flavour. I also ordered the roast pork and chicken satay, both delicious and full of depth. The portions were generous, and everything came out quickly. The atmosphere was warm and lively, making it a perfect spot for a casual night out with great food. Highly recommend!
One of my favorite spots in Melbourne! Their desserts are a must-try, I absolutely loved the Banana Pudding Matcha and Kinako Matcha, so creamy and balanced. If you have a sweet tooth, the Pandan Matcha Tiramisu will definitely be your favorite. We also ordered the Babi Guling, the best in Melbourne! The flavors are authentic, the skin is perfectly crispy, and it comes with Nasi Bali thatโs super tasty and in generous portions. Highly recommend this place if youโre craving proper Balinese food with unique matcha desserts. Canโt wait to come back!
