I admit I was hesitant, wanting to go into town to see more. But darling wife and kids were hungry. Boy am I glad we went here. Staff were lovely, food is excellent and fast! Recommended!!!

It was quiet and quaint. The food came out burnt out in places but not a big deal. The cutlets were tasty and affordable price. Ambience was lacking, background music was interesting. Not sure if I would recommend but a nice local restaurant.

We experienced a little time warp dining at this venue. The only thing missing from 1980s Australia was the iceberg lettuce in the salad. Now living on the same street as this restaurant, when repeatedly trying to book the answer was either they are closed or had a function on. A call out of the blue one day secured a table. We were one out of only two tables booked this night. The dining area is reasonably large given the size of the adjoining motel. A polite and well dressed lady of SE Asian (Thai?) appearance greeted us and served us throughout the evening. The menu was extensive, if dated. Internal decor was also a little vintage with a dominant feature wall. Being married for well over a decade, we didn't have too much to talk about on a weeknight so were happy when the calamari entrรฉe arrived. Did I mention the 1980s? Frozen and deep fried rings served with a lemon wedge and pre-made tartare sauce. Chewy and stringy. What about the mains? The mains were very keenly priced, and my T-Bone was cooked perfectly medium rare whilst being well seasoned. And surprisingly tender. I'd argue this is the best T-Bone I've eaten in the region - big call but well deserved. Sauce appeared to be an adulterated packet mix and could be improved upon. My wife wasn't overly happy with her crumbed lamb cutlets - dry and lacking flavour although the chips and vegetables made up for this with great taste and texture. I'd return just for the steak - it's fantastic for the price.

Absolutely fantastic food, lovely staff, and fast service. This restaurant should be full every night - it's certainly Toowoomba's best kept secret!

My partner and I have enjoyed meals at most restaurants in Toowoomba, and Intersection Restaurant at James St Motor Inn is by far our favorite. It is a very quiet little restaurant -- there are usually only a few other people dining there, which creates a nice atmosphere and is unusual for Toowoomba. The meals are reasonably priced, and there is a wide variety to suit all tastes. I strongly recommend Intersection Restaurant!
