Hidden gem in the CBD! We ordered the Wagyu platter and it was incredibly tender, cooked over real charcoal right at the table - the smoky flavour makes such a difference. Great quality meat, friendly staff who cook everything perfectly for you, and a relaxed vibe. One of the better Korean BBQs we’ve had in Melbourne. Will definitely be back.

One of the best places in Melbourne to try Korean BBQ. All of the beef they used are high quality, although some of their things indicated cuts are better than the others when we tried the different cuts. The beef has nice flavours from the quality, and overall it is very tender. We also requested the staff to cook the beef, although we do also expect for the beef to be cooked faster, but overall, it wasn’t a big deal. The condiments that come with it also pairs well with the beef. They add a nice variety to the dish. Definitely worth the experience and highly recommend visiting here to try a great Korean BBQ!

Had an amazing Korean BBQ experience at Hwadam. We ordered the wagyu set and the meat was incredibly tender and full of flavour. Loved that the staff handled all the grilling — everything came out perfect. The sushi rice strips were such a fun touch, especially paired with the freshly grilled beef. Great service, clean space and super easy iPad ordering. Will definitely come back!

An absolutely amazing meal!!! The barbecue came with adorable little rice balls so you can DIY your own sushi!! The meat quality was excellent, rich in flavor but not greasy at all. The stir-fried vegetables were also delicious, and the portion of meat was super generous. The staff were very attentive, helping with grilling and changing the grill plate promptly. Truly a satisfying dining experience!

Super satisfied with our KBBQ dinner here! Didn’t know there’s this restaurant at level 2. The meat was fresh and good quality. But I love their cold buckwheat noodle the most! It’s so refreshing and is something that I would crave for during summer. Would definitely revisit again!
