I had Horang Chicken with my family, and it was absolutely delicious. Both the kids and the adults were excited to eat it. The chicken paired with a variety of sauces was outstanding. Everything was perfect—the taste, the presentation, and the service. Sometimes good food brings real comfort, and Horang Chicken did exactly that for us. Highly recommended!

For a chicken resteraunt, I'm quite disappointed, the rice and sause was the best part... Full stop. The fried chickens aftertaste tasted like seafood 🤢, I would like to see an improvement in the quality of the chicken or the way it's cooked...

I was really looking forward to trying this spot out. Everything looked delicious. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. I will start positive: I thought the chicken had a really good crunch and the flavor of the breading was quite nice. Here is where things went south: when you got to the chicken itself, it seemed like it was really poor quality chicken. I couldn't even really eat it. It was chicken thighs, which is fine....I don't mind chicken thighs, but they can be hit or miss; and these were all a definite miss. I don't know if their other chicken items are of the same quality or not. But I just couldn't eat it. Then, their fried potato strings, which I looked forward to for a burst of texture, ended up being stale, and not very crispy.

This is an Updated review; Horang has become a regular for me when I come to Cairns Central. The food is always amazing and the staff are so friendly. I love bumping into Hugh the head Office Manager, hes a great bloke and is always up for a chat and to say G'day. Ive been eating the Burgers lately which are delicious and huge and I always struggle to finish them. The boneless Chicken is huge as well (the photos don't do them justification for there size) and are super yum. My favourites are the Honey Butter and Chipotle. Today I got to try there new menu item "Korean Chibab Ricebowl". Wow 👌 absolutely awesome and sooo big again! 👏 I ordered the Green Tiger Chi-Bab and shared it with my daughter who also absolutely loved it. It was plenty big for the two of us! I love how the menu is always evolving, the staff always take care to make sure the food looks good, portions are always consistent and the chicken is always delicious, crunchy with so much flavour. 💯% the best fried Chicken in North Queensland! Prices may seem on the more expensive side but the servings are huge and the photos don't do it justice. My new favourite korean fried chicken in Cairns!
