We had an amazing experience here and couldn’t be happier. Before coming, we found the restaurant’s phone number on Menu.app and called to ask about the latest time for dinner. We were told that last orders were at 9:30 pm, so we arrived around 9:00 pm. When we got there, the staff politely told us that the kitchen usually closes at 9:00 pm, which was a little confusing due to the different information. After they kindly confirmed that the phone call was genuine, the team went out of their way to look after us. The service that followed was absolutely top-tier, and the food was honestly the best Korean food I’ve had in the Gold Coast. From the friendliness of the staff to the quality of the food, everything was almost flawless. They truly turned what could have been an awkward situation into a really great night. Highly recommended. I will definitely be coming back!

We went as a group of three and ordered the gopdoritang, and it was seriously delicious man😂 The place was clean and well kept, which made the experience even better. You can adjust the spice level, and the flavours were spot on. Being able to finish with fried rice at the end was a huge plus. Soooo good! They also had a soju three-bottle promotion, which was great value. Would definitely come back 4 sure 🙏🏻👍🏻

We visited Hongdae Gopchang Gold Coast with our family while travelling from Sydney, and honestly, we were blown away. The gopchang was top tier, easily on par with some of the best gopchang places in Korea. No smell at all, perfectly grilled, and incredibly rich and flavourful. What surprised us even more was the price, much more affordable than Sydney, especially considering the quality. It was a great spot for a family meal, and everyone enjoyed it. If you’re looking for authentic Korean gopchang on the Gold Coast, this place is a must visit. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in the area.
